Employee involvement

We believe that the power of community involvement is in our own workforce. Many of them offer their time, concern and commitment to helping others in their local communities. We encourage all forms of employee volunteering and we support our own employees in their community work.

Employee involvement achievements

  • John Jennings has won an award for his involvement with the Drigg and Carleton Gala Committee, the Parish Council and the Drigg village hall and playground committee. He is also a school governor.
  • Martin Bentley has been part of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team for more than 20 years.
